FUNDAMENTALS WILL BE EXHIBITING IN DUBAI
We will once again be exhibiting at the Dubai-based Middle East Electricity Trade Fair (MEE) February 14-16, 2017. MEE is the largest international trade event for the power industry, covering the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity.
You will find us on stand H4.C30 where we will be joining RMS Mors Smitt who are our official distributor for the SuperTAPP SG in Australasia, Malaysia and the Gulf States.
Our MD, Dr Jon Hiscock, will be presenting ‘Voltage Regulation for Smart Grid’ at a technical seminar on Wednesday 15th February at 5pm.
Jon will also be present throughout the MEE event to talk to customers about the SuperTAPP SG relay and other Fundamentals offerings such as our Total Tapchanger Solutions services. He will be joined by Hamdi Shishtawi, Application Engineering Group Leader, who has extensive experience of the Middle East market. He commented:
“Exhibiting at the MEE is a great opportunity for Fundamentals. Hundreds of participants from around the world gather for three continuous days to show the latest realisations of system automation equipment, control equipment, protection equipment and much more. The exhibition covers all sectors of the electricity industry including distribution, transmission and generation.”
“We will be exhibiting alongside prestigious industry leaders Mors Smitt and RMS Mors Smitt to showcase our world-class, advanced voltage control relay to industry influencers from across the globe. Previous participation at this exhibition has shown that utilities and industry leaders are very interested in the ‘Fundamentals approach’ to voltage control and that the technology developed by us at Fundamentals is globally desired.”
The SuperTAPP SG relay provides practical options to deliver a Smart Grid approach for distributed generation, capacitor banks, advanced transformer parallelling, network interconnections and reconfiguration, flexible and highly variable loads and many other scenarios which cause challenges to voltage control. Furthermore, it comes with a powerful communications platform, supporting the main SCADA communication protocols used in the power system industry.
SuperTAPP SG is a modular relay which bring flexibility to the voltage control scheme design. This also means the relay is future proof and the hardware can be upgraded at any point.
